Great first experience, the Thai BBQ chicken was phenomenal!

We ordered for pickup and the food was ready 14 minutes later, no delays.  They packaged the 4 meals very well to ensure they did not spill and stayed piping hot

This spot is conveniently located on Telegraph and 63rd street with easy street parking.

    I'll be back soon!

missed this place many many times
But we decided to stop as there was a parking space right in front
later we learned that there is a nice parking lot in the back wheelchair accessible entrance so is the bathroom

Place has been here for 33 years and serving wonderful Thai food from an extensive menu
    Many excellent lunch specials

the owner is friendly and very helpful

Yummy yummy! Ordered Garlic chicken! First timer here. My friend lives down the street.

Woah the food was so good. Can't say much more than that. REALLY GREAT THAI FOOD.

IF YOU LIVE LOCALLY! Come in! Great owners. The gentleman ("AIR") yes that's his name. He was so polite.

THE HUNT FOR STUFFED CHICKEN WINGS IS FINALLY OVER.  Since our favorite thai restaurant closed 3 yes ago, we have been looking for a replacement.  The wings were yummy with a golden crispy skin.  The lap gai is some of the best I have ever had.  The sauces are too (ameticanized) sweet.  Loved the fresh mango in the summer rolls.  The short ribs in the mussaman curry were succulent.  YUM!!!!  Will be back

Damnit!!! I WANT so badly to love this place! Everything else except for the actual food is perfect. I'm struggling to find something that I really like here besides their soup and Thai iced tea.

Saysetha was one of those places that I just kept passing by. I finally decided to go inside about a month or so ago. I really love their interior setup! It's simple but the decorations are kind of festive. It's low lit with a very calm and relaxing demeanor. And most importantly, it's super clean! Lots of places to sit which is a plus.

The gentleman who's always at the front (he may be one of the owners) is super pleasant! Always greeting everyone when they come in and he waits on all of the tables. He's always checking up to make sure if everything is okay. Always smiling, always in a cheery mood. I mean... service is NOT an issue here.

And, the price is RIGHT! They give you sooo much damn food for what seems like peanuts. Their lunch specials are ridiculous! Portion sizes are seriously out of this world! Okay.... here comes the "BUT".....

BUT... the food though. It needs some help. Presentation-wise; stunning! The esthetics are there. It's the flavor or lack there of. I've had two plates here so far; their Thai bbq chicken lunch special and their pineapple fried rice. Unfortunately, both of them as a whole were lacking.

The Thai bbq chicken plate came with three really large pieces of chicken. One was a drumstick for sure. The problem is, I couldn't really identify what part of the chicken that the other pieces came from. They were shaped like a circle. It was almost like they used a cookie cutter to shape the chicken. Judging from how dry the chicken was, I am going to assume that it was a chicken breast.

The chicken was dry and didn't have much flavor. The Thai chili dipping sauce helped a little bit but not with the dryness. Really didn't care for the rice and the carrot salad was good but nothing special. It was still edible and I had plenty of leftovers so I still took it home. Now here's the real kicker; it didn't reheat well. I love my leftovers and the fact that it tasted even worse than the day before was disheartening.

The pineapple fried rice was also a major disappointment. All of the additives seemed to be there; the shrimp, pineapple, peanuts, tomatoes, chicken, cucumbers, etc. I could taste all of those elements, but there was no seasoning! I literally felt like I was eating plain fried rice with meat and vegetables just thrown in afterward. I'm not sure who's cooking back there, but maybe he needs to try the food before he sends it out to be delivered. The crazy part is that it actually smells wonderful, but there's virtually no flavor.

I don't wanna give up on them yet. I will try  couple more things before I throw in the towel. Hopefully, I'll find something that I really like here because the food should match the excellent service.
